Masha Hedberg received her PhD in Government from Harvard University. She is an Adjunct Professor at the John Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) and a Fellow at the European University Institute. Her expertise includes political corruption, regime transitions, and public administration and regulatory reform. Her own research focuses on the development of markets and institutions in emerging economies, and she has extensive experience working in the former Soviet Union. She received a BA from Yale University and speaks fluent Russian, as well as French and Italian.
